Great work comes from great teamwork. DHIndia Association has done this in the past with alliances formed with CAHO, CHIME, HIMSS (India), NRCeS, HL7 India, etc. for its many projects, including a successful Telemedicine Registry. With great ideas, great thinkers, and equally capable foot soldiers, DHIndia has made a positive impact with its projects and we intend to continue to do so with the Devices Registry as well.

DHIndia’s Devices Registry project, helps us rise to the occasion, to meet a very important demand by the healthcare provider community. This is to ensure that quality of care isn’t compromised, even with a lot of healthcare delivery, especially outpatient visit encounters, having to transition to the world of Digital Health and Telemedicine.

The advancement in technology has changed the number of medical devices available today. In such a scenario, as patients or doctors or hospitals themselves have such a wide variety of devices to choose from, the million dollar question has become, “How do you choose the ‘right’ device?”

With this Devices Registry DHIndia aims to bring a lot of value to all the stakeholders in the healthcare system, especially the Healthcare Providers, Telemedicine platforms and Device vendors. Medical devices will be listed in the registry after the evaluation by an expert panel.

The Registry will help patients, doctors, hospitals, telemedicine companies, and all other stakeholders in the ecosystem, by giving access to information about various products – their capabilities, their strengths, and their weaknesses. These key pieces of information will help decision-makers find products best suited to them and accelerate their adoption, which will directly empower the healthcare system in our country. It will make an impact in solving many patient problems and help in reducing their suffering. It will also help direct the ecosystem in a direction that will help to innovate and improve – for delivering better quality of devices for better quality of healthcare delivery.
